A collaboration project with Illustration students, creating a paper mechanic surrounding the theme of “SPACE”.
My team decided to create a zine, which was great for combining Illustration and Graphic Design. The zine comes along with an A3 poster, a paper constructed dice which will be aimed towards kids aged 11-14. Focusing on the planet Mars only, which recently had alot of interesting discoveries and missions taking place.
The zine’s contents surrounds the recently concluded missions to Mars, encouraging young women and people of color to pursue STEM careers.
In this project, I was responsible for the MOXIE mission, Phoenix Lander spreads and the front back covers of the zine.

The paper constructed dice have 12 sides which is foiled in robin red, to represent the look of Mars. The numbers will then be linked to the zine, where each number links to a specific multiple-choice questions for each spread inside the zine, creating a fun learning experience with a quiz after reading the zine. The A4 dice is printed with laser priner and the cuts and folds by the zund machine.
