A passion project I did to explore my culture’s heritage, as a learning experience and skills building.
Sounds Of Heritage is a Cantonese Opera Festival in London, held in the SouthBank Centre. The festival is a cross-cultural celebration of tradition and modernity, aiming to bring the sounds and visuals of Cantonese opera to a diverse audience. The brand blends both Chinese and English, creating a bilingual and immersive experience that invites curious newcomers to explore and appreciate the art and music of Cantonese culture together.
“The festival bridges cultures in the heart of London”
I chose the colours to be black and white, where audiences who are not familiar with and does not have an image of Cantonese Opera will be able to get the full experience when they watch the plays inside the theatre. The performers and actors bring the colours to the brand.
